Meet the new ridemeister. Or should we say gravel meister?

@p.walsleben

Philipp has been a professional for 15 years. In his first years as a professional he focused entirely on cyclocross, taking victories in German Championships, an U23 World Champion title and podium spots in World Cups. In the final chapters he was part of the @alpecinfenix team. Mainly serving in big classic races, but he also managed to take two stage victories in his last year as a pro.

Today Philipp works as a coach and enjoys bike rides without the pressure of the peloton. He rediscovered his training routes in and around Berlin, and especially also the gravel bike making long off-road rides a pleasant new discovery.

Philipp will guide you through and around Berlin, with a mixture of tourism and stunning gravel. Enjoy his bike handling tips, anecdotes and of course a well deserved coffee stop along your way.

New ridemeister - Kris Boeckmans!

Born in Malle, Belgium, Kris was into many sports ranging from basketball and gymnastics to playing football on a square with friends, to cycling at the local cycling club. At the age of 16 he stopped playing basketball to start competitive racing.

Kris is a Flandrien for sure. In his career he won famous races like Le Samyn and Nokere Koers. And who knows if it wasn’t for his career changing accident, he might have been a candidate for winning De Ronde some day.

During his cycling career coffee became another passion. In 2019 Kris launched his own coffee blend and in August 2021 he even opened his “espresso bar” under the name “Fringale”, which means a hunger knock. Of course the start and finish of your ride with Kris are usually at his Café Fringale with a coffee of choice and a pastry of the day.

Meet the ridemeister - Ed Clancy!

With 20 years riding for the Great British Cycling Team, Ed Clancy turned out to be a crack at the track. Three times gold medalist at the Olympics and six World Championships are only the ultimate highlights in his extensive palmares.

Before specializing in track cycling, Ed rode for a pro continental road team, with the majority of his career riding for UK-based continental road teams. He loved the short, punchy crit racing scene; excelling in crits, winning a number of races and titles at home and abroad.

Brought up in Yorkshire and, after a few years of living away, he moved back to this part of the world in part because of the great roads on offer. He learned his trade on the same roads that he still rides on today. Yorkshire has a strong history and culture of cycling and has produced many past and current cycling champions.
