Cape Town Gravel
The Cape Peninsula is well suited to road bike and Mountain bike for the great road
infrastructure and mountain bike paths. However, gravel bikes can take in most of the
above.
Travel a little out of town, and the gravel roads of the Boland are within reach,
where visits to quaint towns become possible via perfect gravel-bike friendly roads. From
the smaller towns just north of Cape Town, we will ride endless gravel routes and enjoy the
fruits of the farms as we stop en-route.
My suggestion would include a day’s riding out to the village of Riebeek Kasteel on a gravel
adventure.
