Kirsten’s Hometown

Here is what Kirsten says about her favorite hometown ride; “Cycling from Zwolle you can really go in all directions. We can go in the open flats, the ‘polders’ as we call them. Here we will battle and beat the wind, having fun circulating our group in aerodynamic forms. It’s real nice terrain to get that feeling of the spring classics way of riding.
We can also ride over the beautiful Veluwe. Hills around the Dellen and the famous Knobbel, quiet beautiful roads around Elspeet and Nunspeet in a wooded area. A similar experience is when we ride towards the Sallandse Heuvelrug, where we can make a great loop via the Holterberg, the Diepe Hel (which means deep hell) and the Lemelerberg. Dutch mountains that for sure will surprise your muscles with surprisingly great altitude views for a flat land!”
