Cape Town is known for its beautiful scenery, including Table Mountain, numerous bays, on & off road trails and of course the Cape Argus and the Cape Epic. Maarten moved here recently, after spending the last years of his cycling life in The Netherlands. What Maarten says about riding in his new hometown; “Cape Town stands for sun, sea, mountains and beautiful views. The area gives plenty of opportunity for swimming, surfing and most of all great riding. New experiences in every dimension in the southernmost part of Africa and riding a bike is the best way to explore this region. I love riding the popular spots like Chapman’s peak, Houtbay and Constantia Nek. But also the lesser known Red and Black Hill and of course for the longer rides, the Cape of Good Hope. With Table Mountain as an anchor point, I will take you around the area for an unforgettable experience.”
