Here is what Monika says about her favorite hometown ride; “The scenery of the Berner Oberland is just spectacular. With the famous Jungfrau Peak, Lake Thun, Grindelwald and Interlaken, this region is known for its beautiful mountains and lakes.
Whether you want to ride flat around Lake Thun or climb up the Grimsel pass, this region offers it all.
My personal favorite ride is up the “Grosse Scheidegg”, a smaller and quiet climb up to oversee a dramatic mountain scenery. Once we have descended on the other side, we grab a coffee and some fine Swiss pastry with the view towards the glacier, before we roll all the way down back to Lake Thun.”
