11
As a ridemeister, we understand there may be instances where you need to cancel a booked ride. To cancel a booked ride please email at letsride@ridemeister.cc as soon as possible and we will assist you. You should also inform the need to cancel with the client through our website message function when applicable. In the case of a website message function is applicable you may be able to work out an alternate time or date for the ride booking. If you arrange an alternative time that you both agree to, have the client propose the new time within the ride booking page and continue with the booking process. Frequent cancellations, or no-shows, are a violation of our intention agreement and may result in removal or temporary disabling of the ridemeister profile on the ridemeister platform.

12
If weather creates a safety concern or an unsafe environment, either before or during the ridemeister ride, the ridemeister may cancel the ride without penalty. The client will be fully refunded, if this happens.

13
The ridemeister is in full control during the ride. If the client do not accept or follow the instructions given by the ridemeister and/or the client do not follow the safety measures published on the website, the ridemeister has the authority to cancel the ride. If this is the case a refund will not be given.

14
We understand that emergencies can happen. A refund is given to you for valid cancellations with documented reasons, or for cancellations made for valid safety reasons. We may ask you to provide documentation for a cancellation due to an emergency.

15
If you need to cancel a ridemeister ride because of an unexpected circumstance that’s out of your control, we might be able to give you a refund. Circumstances are for example government-mandated obligations like jury duty and travel restrictions, airport and road closures that make it impossible to travel to your destination, changes to visa or passport requirements that make it impossible to travel to the destination (this doesn’t include lost or expired travel documents), death of a client, or an immediate family member, serious illness of a client or any member of the traveling party. Claims must be submitted within 14 days of the unexpected circumstance.

16
Whilst we maintain high professional standards of client care and safety (see our safety measures on this website), you must realise and accept that cycling is an activity which carry a danger of personal injury or even death, as they can take place in remote off-road and hazardous mountain terrain, and/or in areas with high traffic volumes. All clients must be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions and involvement in such activities. Therefore it is important to understand that the client is responsible for adequate insurance in place.

Whilst making every effort to ensure accuracy, we cannot be responsible for any inaccuracies or alterations beyond our control. Should any changes occur, clients will be notified before a booking is accepted.

18
Although we adhere to planned itineraries wherever possible, changes may occur to both travel and guiding itineraries due to external factors beyond our control. In particular, the ridemeister has total discretion to alter rides at any time in the interests of client safety and current mountain, or weather conditions.

19
By booking you agree to abide by instructions and decisions made by the ridemeister regarding individuals and the group as a whole. Our ridemeisters reserve the right to exclude individuals from a planned activity on the grounds of health, safety or the success and enjoyment of the rest of the group. Any individuals so excluded are not entitled to a refund.

20
We accept no liability for the consequences of strikes, riots, acts of war or terrorism, disease outbreaks, government intervention, natural disasters or adverse weather conditions. If such occurrences cause us to have to cancel a tour we will offer an alternative tour if possible, but accept no liability for return of fees paid prior to cancellation.
